When it comes down to using Reddit on Windows 11/10, there are several ways to go about it. Users can take advantage of visiting the web address, which is the most common way of using Reddit, or use one of the many apps available via the Windows Store.

Reddit apps for Windows 11/10

The web page is very easy to use, but in terms of eye candy, well, the developers could have done a better job. To be completely honest, Reddit via the web browser looks ancient, but it can be spiced up using the Reddit Enhancement Suite extension available for Microsoft Edge. If you’re not interested in using the extension, then the following Windows Store apps could make your Reddit life much better.

1] Baconit

This is one of the most used Reddit apps via the Windows Store. It’s available both for Windows 10, and Windows 10 Mobile. Not only that, but it’s also available to those with a Microsoft HoloLens, Surface Hub, and Xbox One. What sets this apart from the Reddit website is the fact that it looks great and more user-friendly. Still, it should be noted that Reddit on the web will always perform better than Baconit in terms of speed.

2] Readit

This is my personal favorite, the Reddit app I use on a regular basis, and I must say, it works rather well. It’s a well-crafted app with all the features one would come to expect from a Reddit app. We like that it supports Reddit Gold, toast notifications, and secondary tiles. With an app like this, Reddit users on Windows 10 won’t be missing out on anything important. Furthermore, outside of Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile devices, the app can also be had on Microsoft HoloLens, Surface Hub, and Xbox One. Download Readit from the Windows Store.

3] Reddit ReddHubV2

Another decent Reddit app in the form of Reddit ReddHubV2. It does much of what the above Reddit apps do. It’s integrated with Imgur and YouTube, so there’s no need to leave the app to view memes and videos. Furthermore, it comes with a powerful WYSIWYG editor, so users won’t have problems editing their content. There’s one thing we do not like, and that’s how ads are integrated. We understand that free apps require advertisements for developers to earn money, but the ads here are intrusive. Ads that constantly loop with sound should be considered a problem, but the developers do not seem to agree with that sentiment. Download Reddit ReddHubV2 from the Windows Store.
